Megaman, also known as Rockman in Japan, is one of the most iconic video games Capcom ever produced. And now, as the franchise celebrates its 30th anniversary, the company is releasing plenty of new commemorative merchandise. And as expected, many of the are quite expensive, including a special 30th anniversary coin…

The coin might just be 26mm in diameter, but it’s made of 18-karat gold. It also costs 350,000 yen, and that still doesn’t include the tax. But because it’s gold, it’s quite valuable indeed, and they’re only making 50 of these. And if there’s any consolation, it does come with a special 30th anniversary case…

And for those who want a coin but don’t have the budget, there’s also a silver version. This one’s a lot cheaper at around 15,000 yen plus tax. However, they’re a bit more common, as Capcom is making around 300 of these coins.

Capcom is releasing these items around late September, plenty of time to save, right?
