New key visuals and a promotional video have been released for the new “FLCL” films! The highly anticipated sequel to one of the seminal works of 2000’s anime, FLCL 2 will be released on 7th September 2018, with FLCL 3 following shortly after on 28th September 2018.
FLCL 2 and 3 will marks the return of most of the staff from the first FLCL, including creator Kazuya Tsurumaki and character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. The new films will be helmed by “PSYCHO-PASS” director Katsuyuki Motohiro, with the screenplay written by “Last Dinner” writer Hideto Iwai. Japanese alternative rock act and soundtrack artistses “the pillows” will once again create the music for FLCL 2 and 3.
