The live-action musical adaptation based on the official spin-off CD project “Shining Theatre” of popular rhythm game series “Uta no Prince-sama” announced key visuals and casts earlier this week. Titled “Polaris”, this is the latest in the line of a series of musical adaptations for the spin-off theatrical project.

The full-costumed cast visuals of the three main characters were revealed along with the project’s key visual. Playing the role of Tokiya Ichinose is Ryunosuke Matsumura – and for him, this is actually a reprisal of role where he played the same character in the previous “Shining Theatre” project’s musical adaptation of “Joker Trap“.

Playing the role of Natsuki Shinomiya is young model-actor Soichiro Yamakawa. The young talent is more well-known as a fashion model since his debut in the entertainment industry so there are some who speculate that this role may be his debut spring-board into the 2.5D acting world.

Shojiro Yokoi, the actor for Cecil Aijima is also, like his fellow-actor Matsumura (above), reprising his role for a second time. He previously played the character Cecil in the 2017 production of the ‘Shining Theatre’ musical project “Tenka Muteki no Shinobi-Michi“.
