Virtual YouTubers, also known as V-Tubers, are the big things in Japan right now. In fact, V-Tubers are popping up one after another, creating their own channels and establishing their own fandoms. Well, it seems that two legendary seiyuu who work together on one piece tried their hands on this new trend. The are legendary seiyuu Mayumi Tanaka, who voices Luffy, and Kappei Yamaguchi, who voices Usopp. They even released a video as they try to become Virtual YouTubers. Well, it’s safe to say that hilarity ensued.

The video used motion-capture technology to create 3D versions of Usopp and Luffy. This resulted in a manzai-inspired comedy video which also promotes the upcoming One Piece: Episode of Sorajima (Skypeia) special. It will air on 25th August 2018.

While this video seems to be a one-off, what do you guys think of it? Do you guys think they should really make a One Piece V-Tuber channel?
