After a five-years interval, the “Disney Voice of Prince” (Disney 声の王子様) series – in which popular Japanese male voice actors sing covers of favourite classic Disney songs – is back with a brand new CD album scheduled to go on sale in September 2018, as well as a live event/concert lined up in 2019.
The new album “Disney Voice of Prince Voice Stars Dream Selection” is the 5th in the “Disney Voice of Prince” series since the songs-cover project started in 2012. This upcoming release will feature 12 popular young male seiyuus – all of them young stars in the Japanese voice acting world, and each of them will have a solo cover of one Disney song. Keeping to the project’s tradition, the album will also include a bonus track where all the performing seiyuus sing the classic “Mickey Mouse March” together. Let’s take a look at the list of songs and the 12 voice actors who will be performing them!

On top of the new album release, a live event has also been announced for this project – the very first since its beginning in 2012. “Disney Voice of Prince – Voice Stars Dream Live 2019” will happen in June 2019 in a concert hall at Makuhari Messe International Convention Complex in Chiba. Two show slots – one in the afternoon; another at night – are scheduled for the event and all 12 seiyuus featured in the latest album will be performing live. A serial code for advanced tickets balloting sales will be included with the CD. Fans and customers may check out more details from the event’s official site.
