During the past week, Japan, particularly Hiroshima and nearby prefectures, have suffered greatly from recent storms. Flooding has been rampant, and people displaced. In light of this, Shonen Jump announced that they’re going to release the digital version of issue#32 of their magazine for free. This will be free to the public online until 31st July.

Shueisha announced that they decided to make the issue free as an “emergency measure” for those who cannot buy it because of the flooding. The publisher acknowledged that the floods  hampered the deliveries to several areas, as well as cancelling a few of them.

The flooding and landslides in Western Japan caused 200 deaths and widespread evacuations. It caused plenty of damage to homes and businesses, as well as roads and bridges.
