Shoujo mangaka Akino Mimura — who is best known for her works “School Days” and “Legendary Girl”, passed away yesterday — 30th July 2018 at approcimately 11:12 AM Japan time.
The announcement was made via her official Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Akino Mimura debuted with Watashi no Risō no Anata Sama in 1977, and had a career spanning over three decades — her last published work was “Tobenai Tsubasa – Zou no Senka Anohito no Omokage”.
Rest in peace, Mimura-sensei.
