The Hello Kitty Shinkansen has now started service and is now transporting passengers around Japan. Now, one of its stops is Hakata Station in Fukuoka. And now, the city known for Tonkotsu Ramen has opened a very special Hello Kitty Shinkansen Cafe within Hakata Station.

However, the cafe itself is within the station’s platform, so you’ll need to get a platform ticket worth 140 yen. But do remember that these have a 2-hour limit so better mind your time when eating there.

Aside from the Hello Kitty theme, the cafe features a faux shinkansen platform with Hello Kitty on it. It also features a model of the bullet train itself.

And because this is still a cafe, they also have their own food and drink menu, as well as a dessert menu. And if you purchase any of the special menu items, you get a free coaster as well.
