Are you guys as pumped as we are for the upcoming LiSA concert?! We could hardly contain our excitement as LiSA herself took a few minutes out of her busy schedule to answer a few questions for us here at WOW Japan! Check it out below!

Welcome back to Singapore! It’s been a while since you’ve step foot in Singapore. Is there anything you miss about being here?

Thank you! So good to be back! I miss so much, but most of all I miss the sound of everyone singing along with me! …and probably chicken rice! Haha!

What are you looking forward to this time around?

It will have to be my concert. It’ll be my first time performing in a livehouse-type environment in Singapore so I’m really looking forward to it.

Congratulations on the double release of your Best of albums and getting both #1 and #2 on the Oricon charts! How do you feel about this?

Honestly, just so surprised when I heard the Oricon news! And since it was a best album, full of all the steps I’ve taken since my debut, knowing that many people listened to it was so rewarding. I was truly happy about it!

What was the most fun part of doing the double album? On the other hand, what was the most challenging part?

It was so fun to pick tracks for the albums. When reviewing the songs to pick, all the memories that came with each song would come back, so it was very emotional but fun. It was also so fun to take this best album on the road in Japan and perform it live! The most challenging part was putting the songs in order and deciding on the tracklist for both discs. I went back and forth so many times!

You’ve been singing for 8 years already; what inspired you to become a singer?

I’ve always wanted to be a performer on stage since I was a child, but the real break to become a professional solo singer was when I got the chance to sing in the TV anime, “Angel Beats!” That really opened up doors for me and started my solo career.

If you were not walking down the path of a singer, what would you see yourself doing?

I love taking photos, so probably a photographer!

Other than singing, are there any things you would like to try in the future?

Again, anything to do with photography!

Please give a message to your fans in Singapore.

It’s been a while since my last Singapore concert. I’m really really looking forward to seeing everyone in Singapore again!! Please take care till then! Today’s another great day!
