The official fanbook of the high school adventure travel series “A Place Further Than The Universe” is out today in Japan, 23rd August 2018! It will feature character concept sketches, story guides, cast interviews, and feature articles by the production staff at Madhouse as well as director Atsuko Ishizuka. The fanbook retails for JPY 2,700 and is available on and offline at major Japanese bookstores.

“A Place Further than the Universe” tells the story of an eccentric Japanese schoolgirl who organizes an Antartic expedition, to find her mother who disappeared there three years ago. “A Place Further than the Universe” was produced by Madhouse and written by Jukki Hanada. The show is particularly famous in Singapore for its sixth episode, which shows the iconic garden city in all its glory. “A Place Further than the Universe” is currently available in Asia via Netflix.
