In spite of the heat, Summer Comic Market 94 ended on a high note with over 530,000 people in attendance. With C95 already looming at the end of the year, the organizing committee has made an important announcement about Comic Market 2019 on their official Twitter account.

The first announcement can be considered a happy one, as the steering committee has announced that Summer Comic Market 96 and Winter Comic Market 97 will be four days long! C96 will run from 9th to 12th August 2019, and C97 will run from 28th to 31st December 2019.

The second announcement might not be as welcome, as the steering committee announced that all official company booths (such as those run by Aniplex, King Records, etc.) will be relocated to a venue roughly 1.5 kilometers away, at the newly built Oumi Exhibition Hall.
