Popular baseball manga series “Dia no Ace” is collaborating with legendary Kansai baseball team “Hanshin Tigers” in a series of merchandise featuring the Seidou High boys donning official Tigers uniforms! The collection will be released on 2nd September 2018 during the hotly-anticipated Hanshin Tigers versus Yokohama DeNA Baystars!
“Dia no Ace” follows the story of Eijun Sawamura, a baseball pitcher with an unusual natural pitch has stumped batters since he was very young. A scout from the prestigious Seidou High approaches him and offers him a scholarship, and a chance to make it to the highly-revered Koshien national high school baseball championships.
The Hanshin Tigers is one of the oldest professional clubs in Japan, founded in Osaka in 1935. Their home field, Koshien Stadium, is the same stadium used by high school baseball teams in the national championships. Their main rivals are the Yomiuri Giants from Tokyo.
