Franco-Japanese animated feature-length film “Mutafukaz” has finally reached Japanese shores, and is slated to hit cinemas all over the archipelago on 12th October 2018. Animated by ANKAMA ANIMATION (Dofus, Wakfu) and STUDIO 4°C (Tekkoninkreet, Gotham Knight), the Japanese dub of the award-winning arthouse flick features an all-star cast composed of Tsuyoshi Kusanagi (ex-SMAP), Tokio Emoto, and Shinnosuke Mitsushima.

Originally conceived as a short film, which them expanded to a series of comic books, and finally a feature length film, “Mutafukaz” was part of the Official Selection at the BFI London Film Festival 2017, the Tokyo International Film Festival 2017, the Annecy International Animated Film Festival 2017, and the Singapore International Film Festival 2017.

“Mutafukaz” tells the story of Angelino, a down-on-his-luck pizza delivery boy who lives in the dystopian Dark Meat City. When Angelino gets involved in a traffic accident, it sets off a series of events that have him and his friends Vinz and Willy running for their lives from a shadowy organization that threatens the safety of their entire universe.
