The second concert for “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-” dubbed “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- 2nd LIVE @ Shinagawa 《Rhyming Battle Skill Competition》” which is happening this 26th August 2018 isn’t even finished, and a third live is already being announced!

The third gig is officially titled “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- 3rd LIVE @ Odaiba 《Rhyming Battle Skill Competition》”, and will be held at — you guessed it, another “neutral” location not owned by any of the competing rap crews: Tokyo’s seaside playground of Odaiba. The battle will be fought at ZEPP DiverCity on 17th November 2018.

Appearances have been confirmed for the following VAs: Buster Bros!!!’ Subaru Kimura (Ichiro Yamada), Haruki Ishiya (Jiro Yamada), Kouhei Amasaki (Saburo Yamada), MAD TRIGGER CREW’s Shinichirou Kamio (Rio Mason Busujima), Wataru Komada (Jyuto Iruma), Matenrou’s Show Hayami (Jakurai Jinguji), Ryuuichi Kijima (Hifumi Izanami), Kentou Itou (Doppo Kannonzaka), Fling Posse’s Yuusuke Shirai (Ramuda Amemura), Souma Saitou (Gentarou Yumeno), and Yukihiro Nozuyama (Dice Arisugawa).

Applications for advance ticket sales are exclusively for subscribers of the Hypnosis Mic nico-nama Rap Battle Channel. The official website will be opened on 4th September 2018, with public sales starting on 22nd September 2018. Fans are forewarned that tickets will be printed with their names, so they must show a photo ID that matches the name on the ticket upon entry at the gates.

“Hypnosis Mic” is an up and coming media franchise also known as “HypMic” amongst fans. The story is set in a dystopian utopian future where women lead the government and men are merely grunts who follow orders. As guns and other weapons are no longer available, territorial fights must take the form of rap battles.
