After a successful run which started in 2016, Shirou Yoshida’s Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress manga will soon be ending. According to the September edition of  Monthly Comic Garden, this “steampunk survival action” has only three chapters remaining. They also added that if the manga doesn’t have delays, it might end sometime in November.

Yoshida’s manga adapts Wit Studio’s original steampunk zombie survival anime, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. The manga itself launched inside the pages of Monthly Comic Garden a month after the TV anime first made its debut back in April 2016.

However, fret not Kabaneri fans, as the anime will be returning. The staff previously revealed that the series is getting an anime film, which will be acting as a direct sequel to the TV anime. Its title is “Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: Unato Decisive Battle”. However, information is still a bit scarce about that new film, so stay tuned for more announcements.
