Kotobukiya‘s popular “es” line of goods — which has had a number of succesful collaborations with titles such as “Touken Ranbu”, “Yuri!!! on ICE”, and “Fate stay/night”, has announced it’s latest collaboration with this season’s most popular music franchise “Hypnosis Mic”! Dubbed the “es fest 10 Hypnosis Mic Say what!?” collection, it will be will be released on 20th October 2018.
“Hypnosis Mic” x “Kotobukiya” “es” items will be available exclusively at four Animate locations: Ikebukuro, Yokohama, Shinjuku, and Shibuya — which, obviously, correspond to the four divisions going head-to-head in the “HypMic” rap battles. All illustrations will be done by “es” line’s Sakurai-sensei, and will include division support sets, can badges, rubber straps, and acrylic stands. Check out the complete line below!

“Hypnosis Mic” is an up and coming media franchise also known as “HypMic” amongst fans. The story is set in a dystopian utopian future where women lead the government and men are merely grunts who follow orders. As guns and other weapons are no longer available, territorial fights must take the form of rap battles.
