Highly popular high school manga “Mix” is finally getting an anime adaptation, scheduled for release in 2019. The series started in 2012, and has a total of thirteen collected volumes, with over 7.5 million copies in print.
“Mix” is a Japanese baseball manga series written Mitsuru Adachi, who is best known for his previous series “Touch”. “Mix” is not a direct sequel to “Touch”, however many Touch characters have minor appearances in “Mix”.
“Mix” centers on stepbrothers Touma and Souichirou Tachibana, with dreams of bringing Meisei High back to Koshien, following the footsteps of their fathers Tatsuya and Kazuya Uesugi.
