One Piece characters singing?! Well, that’s exactly what the One Piece Oto Utage musical concert is all about. It will be a unique performance which will incorporate character acting, brass/percussion musical performances, and screenings of scenes from the anime. And now, the staff have revealed the cast in costume in a new video:
The latest performance is titled One Piece Oto Utage ~Episode of East Blue~. As the title suggests, it will be adapting the Episode of East Blue arc from the anime. The cast will include the voice talents of the anime’s seiyuu, as well as live-action actors. They are:
- Tsukasa Matsuura/Mayumi Tanaka as Luffy
- Takamitsu Fukuchi/Kazuya Nakai as Zoro
- Ryouhei Mori/Kappei Yamaguchi as Usopp
- Shouta Takasawa/Hiroaki Hirata as Sanji
- Misaki Ookita/Akemi Okamura as Nami
In total, the cast and band will include 35 performers from Japan and the United States. Meanwhile, the staff revealed a new visual of the cast, as well as group pictures of the staff with the band:
The production will run at the Tokyo International Forum Hall C from 12th August until 2nd September.
