NMB48 Leader and Team N Captain Sayaka Yamamoto has announced that she will be graduating from the popular idol group. The announcement was made last weekend — 30th July 2018, at Tokyo’s Nakano Sun Plaza on the first day of NMB48’s latest nationwide tour. The tour, dubbed “NMB48 LIVE TOUR in Summer”, is the group’s first nationwide tour in over two years.
Sayaka Yamamoto took part in the first auditions for NMB48, and debuted on 9th October 2010 as part of Team N. On February 2014, it was announced that she would hold a concurrent position in AKB48’s Team K. On 13th April 2016, she graduated from her concurrent position in AKB48’s Team K, and became a full-time member of NMB48.
