Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has produced plenty of classic anime, from Dragon Ball to Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure to One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach, as well as My Hero Academia. But the magazine isn’t just known for all its action and adventure titles, but also its romantic comedies. These include To Love-Ru, Nisekoi, and the recently-animated Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs. And now, another Jump RomCom is getting a TV anime, and it’s Taishi Tsutsui’s We Never Learn (Boku-tachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai).

According to the manga’s 39th issue, Studio Silver and Arvo Animation will be handling the animation production. Meanwhile, Love Hina director, Yoshiaki Iwasaki will be directing it, with Go Zappa writing the scripts. Finally, Saki and Seiyuu’s Life’s Masakatsu Sasaki will be designing the characters off of Tsutsui’s manga design.

We Never learn follows financially-troubled student, Yuiga, who’s aiming for a scholarship. His school gives him the chance to earn that scholarship… by making him tutor his two genius classmates. However, both geniuses are aiming for courses that they’re really bad in. Ogata is a science genius aiming for a liberal arts school, while Furubashi is a literary prodigy who wants to go to a science school.

Jump didn’t reveal any further details yet, but do expect them to reveal more in the days to come.
