Latest in line in their collaborative team-ups with park and recreational facilities across the nation, high school competitive road-bike racing anime “Yowamushi Pedal Glory Line” (based off the manga series “Yowamushi Pedal” by Wataru Watanabe) has just announced a fun-filled autumn stamp rally campaign with the ‘Nijigen no Mori’ Anime Park located in Awajishima (lit. Awaji Island) – a small island in the eastern part of the Seto Inland Sea situated near Hyogo Prefecture.
The concept of the collaboration will be in the form of a ‘training camp’ for six selected members from both the Sohoku High School Road-Bike Racing Club and the Hakone Academy Road-Bike Racing Club. Some of the alumni members of both schools’ clubs will also join in the fun! The camp will take the form of a stamp rally of the various tourist attractions spotted around Awajishima, one of which includes ‘Nijigen no Mori’ Anime Park. The rally spots are plotted and based along the actual road-bike racing course of the annual “Awajishima Long Ride 150” race event ; fans and members of public are invited to join in the stamp rally – and don’t worry because no actual road-biking races will be required of the real-live participants!
The collaboration campaign will commence on 25 August 2018 and will span a full-3-months’ duration until 25 November 2018 on the island. Besides the stamp rally, there will be other interactive activities lined up for participants and fans – like special photo-spots, original collaborative merchandise and food sales, mini puzzle-games, etc. Since there is still some time before the actual event’s commencement, not much detailed information are released, but the organisers did revealed some very tantalising event key visuals to rouse the fancies of fans!
The main event key visual shows the six core members from the competitive road-bike racing clubs of both Sohoku High School and Hakone Academy (pictured L to R) – Shokichi Naruko, Shunsuke Imaizumi, Sakamichi Onoda, Sangaku Manami, Yukinari Kuroda and Yuto Shinkai – in a group shot in front of the region’s iconic landmark, the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge (https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3559.html).
