In celebration of legendary mangaka Go Nagai’s 50th anniversary in the industry, Mitsuoka Motor unveiled a limited edition Devilman car. They unveiled it over at the Mitsuoka Gallery Azabu in Tokyo, and guess who was there to present it? That’s right, the man of the hour himself, Go Nagai!

Company founder Susumu Mitsuoka was also on hand for the unveiling, and co-presented the car to the world. It seems that the new car made the mangaka very much excited, as he admitted he loved how it looked. He also said he wanted to drive it around. Unfortunately, it seems that while he’s a legendary mangaka, he doesn’t even have a driver’s license…

And if you want to own this one-of-a-kind car, then you’re in luck because they’re selling it too! And as expected, it won’t be cheap as its price tag is worth 19.8 million yen. They already opened reservations, and will be conducting a lottery to decide who gets to lose 19.8 million yen in exchange for the car.

But if you just want to see the car for yourself, you’re in luck too! The company will be displaying the car during the Go Nagai Exhibition, which takes place from 15-17 September 2018 at the Osaka Culturarium at Tempozan.
