Violet Everfeels Evergarden has become one of Netflix’s most successful exclusive anime series. And with its extra episode already released, the global streaming brand has revealed that they will be streaming it too. And much like the main anime, this new Violet Evergarden “Extra Episode” will be a Netflix exclusive as well.
The new episode will debut on Netflix Japan first, on 4 October 2018. However, they haven’t revealed when it will hit the rest of the world.
Kyoto Animation first debuted it last 1 July 2018, during the “Violet Evergarden Film & Concert” event in Tokyo. They then released the OVA alongside the anime’s Volume 4 Blu-Ray and DVD release in 4th July. As for the Netflix release, looks like we would have to wait a bit for word on when it hits the rest of the world. As for the main anime itself, the global streaming brand is now streaming the anime in several countries, including Singapore, Philippines, the United States, and several European countries.
