Seishun Buta Yarou“, a light novel series written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keeji Mizoguchi, will be broadcasting the first episode of the anime adaptation on 4thOctober 2018. Fans who can’t wait, however, can catch the first two episodes via a special screening at selected cinemas in Japan.

In addition to the TV anime, the light novel series will also be getting a film adaptation in 2019! The film will adapt the series’ sixth and seventh volumes.

“Seishun Buta Yarou” follows the story of Sakuta Azusagawa, who supposedly suffers from “Puberty Syndrome” — a rumored mysterious condition that only affects those in their puberty. He starts seeing a bunny girl who resembles Mai Sakurajima, a teenage celebrity who put her career on hiatus to attend high school. For some mysterious reason only Sakuta can see her. The mystery slowly unfolds as Sakuta comes to terms with his feelings for Mai.
