When twitter suspends accounts, its usually because the user said something racist, incited violence, issued grave threats, or their account is fraudulent. However, twitter recently suspended the account of the IDOLiSH7 male idol franchise, and its not because of some controversial reason. In fact, the reason for them suspending it was kinda cute and adorable.

It turns out that the social media site thought a 3-year old kid was running the account. According to the anime’s official website, they listed the account’s birthday on 20 August 2015, which was when the original rhythm game was released. Of course, this violated twitter’s policy that users must be at least 13 years of age thereby having them suspend the account.

Thankfully, it seems that the account is now back and they’ve already resolved the issue. However, it did lead to a few problems. While the anime’s previous posts from before the suspension are still there, the suspension did reset the page’s followers. This means that fans of the franchise would have to follow the page again. But then again, that’s something that’s easy to do, right?
