When it comes to mangaka, none may have a bigger name than the late great Osamu Tezuka. He pretty much launched the popularity of Japanese manga worldwide, with works like Black Jack, Dororo, and of course, Astro Boy. And in commemoration of his 90th birthday, Nico Nico Douga is doing a 90-hour streaming marathon! And yes, this would indeed be for Astro Boy, or ATOM as they call him in Japan.

For the comments, a talking ATOM robot will be reading them aloud after the viewing ends. It will begin on Halloween at around 17:00 JST, and end at around 18:00 JST.

But that’s not all, folks, because Nico Nico Douga will also stream other Tezuka anime as well. These include Princess Knight, Dororo, Jungle Emperor Leo (Kimba the White Lion), and Black Jack.
