The official website of Attack on Titan has revealed that the anime’s next episode will be delayed. The delay is due to Typhoon Trani, which is ravaging Japan as of the moment. However, the announcement did state that they will be airing the delayed episode next week, on 8th October.
The delayed 48th episode, titled “Boukansha” (Bystanders), was supposed to air last Monday at 12:35am JST. However, NHK, which airs the series, decided to preempt many of its shows in order to air typhoon coverage.
And Typhoon Trami didn’t just affect Attack on Titan, but other facets of the entertainment industries. Several musical acts, including AKB48, SKE48, Hey! Say! JUMP, and Perfume, have all cancelled performances, not just for the artistes’ safety, but audience members as well.
