The third season of the anime adaptation of the light novel series “Date A Live” will be coming to the small screen in January 2019! The announcement was made at the recently concluded “Fantasia Bunko Dai Kanshasai 2018” (where the crossover game “Fantasia Re:Build” was also announced).
“Date A Live” is set in am alternate world where strange phenomenon called a “spatial quakes” have resulted the end of the world as we know it. Shido Itsuka is a young man who comes across a mysterious girl at the centre of a spatial quake. He learns from his sister Kotori that the girl is a “Spirit”, whose manifestation causes the spatial quakes. He must now use his special ability to seal away these spirits by making them fall in love with him.
“Date A Live III” will star Nobunaga Shimazaki, Marina Inoue, Misuzu Togashi, Ayana Taketatsu, Iori Nomizu, Asami Sanada, Maaya Uchida, Sarah Emi Bridcutt, and Minori Chihara. sweet ARMS is singing the OP theme, and Erii Yamazaki is in charge of the ED theme. Incidentally, Erii Yamazaki will be at C3 AFA Singapore 2018 I Love Anisong concert, so make sure you check her out there!
