Hiroyuki Sawano and LiSA are collaborating for the opening theme song of the upcoming film “Mobile Suit Gundam NT“! As a new unit called “Sawano Hiroyuki [nZk]: LiSA”, their new song “narrative” was announced at the special “Gundam NT” event held yesterday — 16th October 2018, at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo. It was also announced at the event that Yuuchirou Umehara will be joining the cast as Zoltan Akkanen. He joins other “Gundam NT” stars Junya Enoki, Tomo Muranaka, and Ayu Matsuura.
“Gundam NT” is the first completely new movie in MS Gundam UC’s twenty-seven year history. After the events of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, the conflict dubbed the “Laplace Incident” ended with the dissolution of the Neo Zeon remnant group “The Sleeves”. Both the Unicorn Gundam and the Banshee were sealed away, never to be seen again. One year later in U.C.0097, Unicorn Gundam 03 Phoenix suddenly reappears. In an effort to capture the rogue Mobile Suit, the Federation and Neo-Zeon decided to collaborate in a capture operation, known as “Phoenix Hunt”.
