Via Channel News Asia: the first and only Pokemon Center outside of Japan is set to open at Singapore Changi Airport’s The Jewel in the first half of 2019. The Pokemon Center Singapore will feature not just toys, games, stationery, and apparel from Japan, but also seasonal and regional exclusives not found in other Pokemon Centers in Japan and pop-up events overseas.
Pokemon Center Singapore will join other tenants at The Jewel which include cult burger joints Shake Shack and A&W from the USA, new outlets by homegrown brands naiise and Tiger Beer, as well as reportedly the biggest Nike store in South East Asia. The Jewel will also feature Singapore’s largest indoor garden dubbed “Forest Valley”, and a 40m-tall indoor waterfall.
