RADWIMPS has announced the release of a new album as well as a live DVD/BD on 12th December. although the title is still unconfirmed, the new album will be the band’s first new release in over two years since “Human Bloom” came out in 2016. The title of the live concert video release is likewise unconfirmed, however it will be of their Yokohama Arena performance on their recent “Road to Catharsis Tour 2018”.

First formed in 2001 by Yojiro Noda(Vocal, Guitar, Piano), Akira Kuwahara(Guitar), Yusuke Takeda(Bass), and Satoshi Yamaguchi(Drums), the band released their self-titled album in 2003 under an indie label. The band then went on to make their major debut in 2005. In 2016, RADWIMPS provided the sound track for the critically acclaimed “Kimi no Na Wa” (Your Name). They also performed in Singapore last 6th June 2018 as part of their RADWIMPS 2018 Asia Live Tour.
