The struggle between Tanya and her arch nemesis, “Being X””, continues with an upcoming sequel film. And its official website has now updated to reveal a new key visual for the upcoming anime:

From the looks of things, “Being X” is finally sending in the big guns in the form of an angel. As for the film’s story, it will be a new one, and will serve as a direct sequel to the TV anime. Previously, when they announced the film, many people thought it would just be another compilation movie.

Aside from the new key visual, the staff also revealed that the film will premiere in Japan on 8 February 2019. They will then open advance ticket sales on 19 October 2018, and those who purchase these tickets will get a letter from Tanya herself. To be specific, these letters are marching orders which state that the bearer must head to theaters and watch the film.

Aoi Yuuki will be returning as Tanya Degurechaff, while Saori Hayami is also returning as Visha. Aside from that, director Yutaka Uemura has confirmed he’s helming the anime once again over at Studio NuT.
