KonoSuba fans, rejoice, because the franchise is getting its own stand-alone RPG! They announced it during the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko 30th Anniversary Festival event. There, they unveiled the game’s announcement video, as well as a new key visual:

The video features the game’s theme song, “Stand Up” by Machico, who previously performed the anime’s previous theme songs. It also announces that the game will hit PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita consoles sometime in 2019.

Unfortunately, the staff didn’t reveal any further details. We don’t even know the RPG’s official title yet. However, the key visual does have a tag line which states that there’s a quest for something called a “Demon Stone”. From the looks of things, it looks like Kazuma, Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness are gonna look for that very stone. Oh, it seems that Whiz and Yunyun may be coming along as well… which makes their party a lot less USELESS.

Entergram has opened a website for the game, so expect more information to come from there in the future.
