Celebrating ten years of bringing all your favourite contents direct from Japan, C3AFA Singapore 2018 is happening at the Suntec Singapore Convention Centre from 30th November to the 2nd December 2018! Making their debut on the I Love Anisong stage is the hard rocking act KISIDAKYODAN AND THE AKEBOSIROCKETS!

We are very happy and honoured to have Kishida, ichigo, hayapi, and Micchan of KISIDAKYODAN AND THE AKEBOSIROCKETS answer a few questions from WOW Japan. Check out our quick and fun Q&A below!

Is this going to be your first time in Singapore? What do you most look forward to trying?

Kishida: It’ll be my first time in Singapore! I am looking forward to the food!
ichigo: It will be my first time. I wanna to a casino for the first time, and I also look forward to buying spices and seasonings that you can only get here!
hayapi: It will be my first time in Singapore. I am a little sad there might not be a lot of time to go sight-seeing, but Singapore seems to have a lot of delicious sweets, so I will do my best to find the time to have a cuppa.
Micchan: It’s my first time. I actually want to try living here at least once.

You’ve been working together for more than 10 years. How do you keep the bond between you guys so strong after so many years?

Kishida: We try not to become too excessively involved in each other’s business.
ichigo: To always show appreciation, and maybe not see each other too often hahahaha!
hayapi: Each member has different hobbies, so you must understand that different people have individual preferences, and you must respect each other’s territory.
Micchan: The secret is to not stay too close nor too far away.

Is there a song that each member best identifies with? Which song would you say best represents KISIDAKYODAN AND THE AKEBOSIROCKETS?

Kishida: “GATE ~ Sore wa Akatsuki no You ni~”, “Tenkyou no Alderamin”, “HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD”, “Akeboshi Rocket” are songs that I consider our milestones.
ichigo:　As a band,it is our latest song “Blood and Emotions”. Personally, it’s “GATE ~ Sore wa Akatsuki no You ni~” and “Tenkyou no Alderamin”.
hayapi:　Personally it’s “HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD”; as a band it’s “Tenkyou no Alderamin”.
Micchan: It should be “Akeboshi Rocket”, when everybody met?

What can your fans look forward to at C3AFASG 2018?

KISIDAKYODAN AND THE AKEBOSIROCKETS: As a rock band, we want to bring a bigger and cooler sound than anybody else! As soon as we finished making the new album, we felt good as a band, and our rhythm was great!

Kishida: 　Even in other Asian countries, I learned that our music is being heard and that makes me very happy. From now on, I want to make even more good music that will please everyone. Thank you for your continued support!

hayapi:　This is our first live in Singapore, and we have no idea what’s going to happen. We would be very happy if you enjoyed this moment with us!
