The Yomiuri Shimbun is one of Japan’s most widely-read and respected newspapers. However, things got a bit slimy for the newspaper, as it recently ran a full-page ad featuring an anime. That anime? Of course it’s That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime!

The ad not only introduces the anime, but also announces the new “Slime challenge”. It encourages readers to post photos of the anime’s protagonist, Rimuru Tempest, and add the hashtag  #転スラ (tensura).

And not only that, but the ad also announces a new arc for the anime. They also revealed a new character named Yeum, voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is currently airing in Japan via TOKYO MX, BS1, and MBS. It follows a former salary man who somehow got himself reincarnated as a slime after getting stabbed.
