15 years ago, Type-Moon launched an adult visual novel titled Fate/Stay Night. Now, it’s one of the biggest multi-media franchises from Japan, spanning video games, anime, novels, and manga. And as the franchise celebrates this enormous milestone, they also announced a 15th anniversary project. They even released a new artwork, along with a new artwork from Kinoko Nasu himself! And yes, it features Fate/Stay Night’s cash cow most popular heroine, Saber Artoria Pendragon!

The project will include a special Fate/Stay Night exhibition over at the Sony Music Roppongi Museum. It will feature production materials, as well as many other items. Unfortunately, they didn’t reveal much information as of writing.

Animate, Gamers, and other participating hobby shops will also be participating in the celebrations as well. In fact, they will be distributing special 15th anniversary cards to customers!

Finally, they also launched an official website for the project, which features artworks and commentaries from notable individuals. These include Sword Art Online creator Reki Kawahara, as well as Persona director Katsura Hashino, Dark Souls director Hidetaka Miyazaki, and even ufotable staff members.

And to think it all started with an eroge, huh?
