Some sad news in the Japanese music scene, as Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas’ bassist, Kei, has passed away. According to reports, the musician passed away in his home due to acute heart failure.

Kei’s relatives and close friends held a funeral service for the bassist last Tuesday. As expected, his death has affected the band and its activities as well.

Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas has cancelled its plans to release a planned album, as well as go on tour. They also cancelled plans for their upcoming “Mega Vegas” event. They previously scheduled the yet-to-be-titled album’s release for 27th March, but Kei’s passing changed those plans. The staff will reveal details for refunts for the “Mega Vegas” event, as well as a few performances, soon enough. But it’s not all bad news, as the band plans to continue to operate despite their bassist’s passing.
