KanColle fans rejoice, because we’re getting a new Kantai Collection TV anime. The franchise recently held their New Year event over at the Nippon Budoukan, and there, they announced the new anime. They also revealed a PV during the event, but as of writing, it hasn’t hit the internet yet.

Studio Engi, which is Kadokawa’s new animation studio for 2D and 3D works, will be producing the anime. They will be taking over the franchise for Diomedea, which produced the TV anime, as well as the KanColle film. Pachinko and Pachislot company, Sammy, and Ultra Super Pictures, will also be helping out in the production.

They haven’t revealed much information yet, so expect them to release cast and staff information soon. They also haven’t revealed a release window yet.
