One of seiyuu Kensho Ono’s latest roles is as author Subaru Mikazuki in “My Roommate is a Cat”. Let’s just say that the series feels like it’s a Japanese version of Garfield to say the least. And to help promote his new anime, Ono stopped by a cat cafe in Akihabara. Avex Pictures even revealed a few videos of his exploits there:

The YouTube channel will be revealing more videos of the Kuroko’s Basketball seiyuu in his trip to the cat cafe. In the meantime, My Roommate is a Cat has now premiered, and is currently airing. Here’s how Crunchyroll describes the anime’s story:

The story of Mikazuki Subaru, a novelist who is shy and struggles in relationships with other people, and a cat who was dumped by humans and lived a tough life on the streets. Through a twist of fate, the two of them end up living together. This heartwarming tale illustrates day-to-day life through the eyes of both man and cat. These moments seem trivial, but as they build upon themselves, the two become family and find happiness in their life together.

The anime adapts Minatsuki and As Sutasuya’s Dokyonin wa Hiza, Tokidoki Atama no Ue. manga. Kaoru Suzuki is currently directing it over at Zero-G.
