Are you ready for more historical Chinese action?! This is because Yasuhisa Hara’s Kingdom manga and anime series is getting a live-action film adaptation! It stars Kento Yamazaki as Xin, reprising his role from the previous Kingdom anniversary short. Now, MaiDigiTV has started streaming a brand new trailer.

It features the theme song “Wasted Nights” by none other than ONE OK ROCK. Band member Taka wrote the song himself with an incomplete version of the film in mind to write it.

Aside from Yamazaki, plenty of other big names are on board the cast. These include Ryou Yoshizawa (Yin Zheng), Masami Nagasawa (Yang Duan He), Kanna Hashimoto (He Liao Diao), Takao Osawa (Wang Qi), Kanata Hongou (Cheng Jiao), Shinnosuke Mitsushima (Bi), Masahiro Takashima (Chang Wen Jun), and Jun Kaname (Teng). Live-action Gantz and Bleach director, Shinsuke Satou, is at the helm of the film, with Sony Pictures producing. They’re currently shooting the film in China.
