Psycho-Pass will be having a brand new 2.5D stage play titled Butai Psycho-Pass Virtue and Vice. And now, the staff have revealed the cast for the new play. And it looks like it will be having more of a connection with the TV anime than previously expected…

While the new play will have a completely new cast of characters not see in the TV anime, several familiar voices will be returning to reprise their roles. Kana Hanazawa will be voicing Akane Tsunemori once again, while Yoshiko Sakakibara is also returning as Joushuu Kasei. Finally, Noriko Hidaka will be the voice of the Dominator once again. However, do take note that these are just voice roles, as the seiyuu themselves won’t be physically appearing in the play.

Meanwhile, the staff also revealed the cast members in costume, and they are:

Hiroki Suzuki as Haruto Kusen

Takuma Wada as Hiro Kanou

Yasuhi Nakamura as Kyouichirou Iguchi

Hideya Tawada as Yukiya Rangu

Yuuta Ozawa (Gekidan Exile) as Kousei Aida

Ginnojou Yamazaki as Hajime Mejiro

Shouma Machii as Kiyo Gotou

Junya Ikeda as Kanato Ooshiro

Mitsuomi Takahashi as Shingo Mishima

The play will be an all-new story with all-new characters. The anime’s scriptwriter, Makoto Fukami, is writing the scripts, with the anime’s chief director, Katsuyuki Motohiro, directing the play himself. Production I’G will be supervising the play as well. It will first hit Tokyo’s Nippon Seinenkan Hall from 18th-30th April before heading to Osaka’s Morinomiya Piloti Hall from 4th-6th May 2019.
