The latest Pokemon film, Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, will be a remake of the original Pokemon film, Pokemon the First Movie. This would also be the very first fully-3D film in the franchise. And now, the staff have revealed a brand new trailer:

In addition to the new trailer, the staff also revealed the film’s guest cast. Kouichi Yamadera will be reprising his role as Mew for the film, while Sachiko Kobayashi is also coming back from the 1998 original as Voyager.

Masachika Ichimura is reprising his role as Mewtwo, while the rest of the cast also reprise their roles. As for the film itself, the staff have revealed a brand new key visual, which teases the big battle between Mewtwo and Mew. They also announced the film’s 12th July release date as well.

Kunihiko Yuyama and Motonori Sakakibara will be co-directing the film over at Oriental Light and Magic (OLM) Digital, which will be producing its 3D animation.
