Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress will be getting its own original story film titled Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato. And now, Netflix Japan has announced that they will be releasing it in the country simultaneously as the theatrical screenings.
The Netflix run will just be for two weeks, the same time frame as the theatrical run. They will then remove the film after that. Unfortunately, they did not reveal if this is just for Japan or if they would also do this as an international release, like they did with most anime.
And speaking of Netflix anime, Rilakkuma and Kaoru-san is now available to watch via the streaming service. It premiered earlier this week, and has joined their ever-growing crop of exclusive series, including Violet Evergarden, Fate/Apocrypha, Kakegurui, Last Song, and many more. The Kabaneri TV anime is also available to watch via the service as well.
