It was just announced last night at the PERSONA SUPER LIVE P-SOUND STREET 2019 ~Welcome to the Q Theater Day1″ that Persona 5: The Royal will be releasing in Japan on October 31st this year. Asia and the West will join shortly after in 2020. But of course, before we do the talking, let’s look at the trailer shall we?

All new information of the game was also detailed on the official website!

The first new addition is of the new party member and confidant. For the party member, she is none other than the girl in red we’ve been seeing all this time and her name is Kasumi Yoshizawa (CV: Sora Amamiya). She moved to Shujin Academy at the same time as the Protagonist. She is known be a successful gymnast as well.

The newest confidant is Takuto Maruki, a school counselor who started working at Shujin Academy after the incident that happened in April.

The second newest feature is of the third trimester of school. Japanese schools have three terms and this means that we will be able to play from January to March which we were not able to see in the actual game. You can enjoy Hatsumode with the team and see new interactions as well.

Daily life enhancements will be added into the game too! You can now visit Kichijoji, play darts with your friends, take photos and much more!

Lastly, battles and normal exploration will be having new features as well. New songs by Meguro Shoji and Lyn will be added and PS4 Pro enhancements will be coming as well!

Persona 5: The Royal is coming October 31st in Japan and 2020 for Asia. If you’re itchy like me to get the Japanese version, it will be coming in half a year from now!
