After the finale of this season’s Sword Art Online: Alicization aired on TVs all over Japan, a trailer was aired to announce and promote the newest game in the franchise: Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris!

The game will be a re-telling of the events from the series where you will play as Kirito as he steps into the mysterious “Underworld” with amazing combat and visuals! As we have no details of how far this will cover the Alicization arc of the series, I assume it will go as far as the TV series.

There is no word of a release date as of this moment but the game will launch of the Playstation 4, Xbox One and Steam.
