KanColle and Fate may have dethroned it at the top of the Comiket rankings, but Touhou is still going strong. In fact, legendary doujin game developer, Comiket legend, and one-man developing company, ZUN, has revealed the 17th for Touhou Project. Its official title is Touhou Kikeijuu: Wily Beast and Weakest Creature.
He plans to release a demo at the “Hakurei Jinja Reitaisai” event on 5th May, before ultimately releasing it sometime in summer 2019. The story will feature animal spirits trying to take over the world, with Reimu, Marisa, and Youmu trying to stop them. ZUN also promises that it will be “darker than usual” and will be an “offensive shooting game” with lots of animal elements.
The doujin game developer also promised to reveal more details soon enough. So, what do you guys think of this new Touhou game?
