Avengers: End Game is looking to dethrone Avatar as the highest grossing movie in history. It has garnered fans from all over the world, including Japan! One of these Japanese fans is artist Takumi (@takumitoxin on Twitter). He reimagined the Avengers as traditional Japanese Ukiyo-e Woodblock artworks, and his works would become quite viral:

OK, so it’s not just the Avengers, but also main villain Thanos. And his choices were quite fitting for some too. He presented Thor, an actual Thunder God in Norse Mythology, as a raijin, which is the Japanese equivalent. He also presented Black Widow as a ninja and Ronin as a… well… Ronin. Cap, Iron Man, War Machine, Captain Marvel, and Ant-Man were all presented as Samurai, while Rocket was presented as an Ashigaru gunner. Oh, and Hulk is obviously a sumo wrestler.
