After saying the manga is ending over and over and over again… only to continue in another magazine, the official Gintama app has announced that Hideaki Sorachi’s Gintama magazine is continuing… AGAIN. Yeah, they really love trolling fans, huh? This time, they’re saying that it will be continuing in the Gintama app and that it’s “finally, truly, truly starting its countdown to its climax”. And then fans collectively rolled their eyes.
The manga ended its run in its old home of Weekly Shonen Jump last September, only to move in Jump Giga in December. And then, after a run of three chapters, it’s going to continue in the app.
So, do you think that it’s really heading to its climax? Well, this is Gintama, so fans aren’t believing anything concrete. Just Gintama being Gintama I guess…
