In Japan, companies would often compete for the attention of train commuters, so they often try to outdo each other and have the flashiest advertisements. However, to promote the new Rilakkuma and Kaoru anime, it seems that they have taken a very different route, as Twitter user @adrian_dw pointed out:

Instead of flashy and bright colors to catch the eye, the Rilakkuma ads instead featured several amusing quotes which say a few “controversial comments” like  “Follow the latest scandals” and “Work through your cold”. One even said “Isn’t there too much to do in the world? Why not take 10 minutes and forget about trying your best.”

Well, it seems that it suggests to workers to take a break and relax… you know, like Rilakkuma!

The Rilakkuma and Kaoru anime is now streaming on Netflix.
