Japan has a vibrant tabletop scene, and it doesn’t just involve card games like Pokemon, Vanguard, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Magic the Gathering. In fact, other tabletop board games, from The Game of Life all the way to Warhammer 40,000 are very popular in the country. And now, a new anime will be taking a look at that vibrant Japanese tabletop community, and its title is Houkago Saikoro Club. And now, its staff have revealed a new PV, along with a key visual:

The anime adapts Hiro Nakamichi’s board game manga of the same name, which translate to English as “Afterschool Dice Club”. Here’s its synopsis:

A story about girls playing board games after school!

Kyoto in Spring. Aya is a high school girl who’s just moved to a new town. Miki is her shy classmate, and her first friend. One day after school Aya and Miki follow the committee president Midori to a speciality board games store. The Dice Club!! Without thinking they try out a German board game together.

These girls, who are searching for fun, soon fall into the exciting world of games!
